Low-anchored clouds, newfoundland air

…to quote a line from “Mist” by Henry David Thoreau.

These photos are from early May. Since then, the magnolia blossoms of spring have come and gone, but the mist will linger all summer. It gives the cabin a magical quality.

  1. Such beautiful photos. When I was about fifteen, (long before digital photography,) I took photos of the magnolia tree in my grandma’s back yard and had a collage made of the prints. She is just about 99 years old and that picture still hangs in her kitchen!
