Me and my carcass

I have often wondered what compels people to do this. By compelled, I mean both have an urge to shoot a critter, and then pose with its carcass and post it on the Internet.

For some odd reason, I understand taxidermy. But not posing with your bloodied, bloated kill.

I don’t mean this in a derogatory way, it’s just something I don’t get. (For the record, I have watched my husband shoot skeet using a shotgun borrowed from my father, but at least he was aiming at pieces of clay. I should also add that one of his favorite video games is “Big Buck Hunter.”)

Which is your favorite? This one is my favorite (warning: not for the weak stomached Internet user).
