Four teens attacked and robbed a food-delivery man in Hamilton Heights, police sources said yesterday. The quartet, three 15-year-old boys and an 18-year-old man, allegedly pounced on the victim as he left a building on West 150th Street at St. Nicholas Place at 11:10 p.m. Monday, the sources said. A witness called 911 and officers quickly found the four suspects at West 151st Street and Convent Avenue and arrested them for robbery and assault. – New York Post
Some of you will recognize that address as the location of our old apartment building in Harlem. I still miss that roof deck.
But what this little news item fails to mention is that next door to our apartment is the office of the NYPD’s 30th Precinct.
So the teens practically ran themselves to jail.
