Adela has always been an energetic and precocious baby, babbling and playing with toys at just one month of age:
Five months later this past weekend, I set her down in the same baby bouncer for sheer self-entertainment reasons — look at how how her feet now spill out! And how the bouncer nearly sinks to the floor from her pudginess!
Yet, somehow, I caught her at a (relatively) quiet moment, at least for my Adela-bella. The similarities and differences between months astound me.
If the first three months of a baby’s life are grueling for parents (and they definitely were for me), the next three are thankfully delightful.
